- Removal is carried out in accordance with vehicle manufacturer/component supplier and tolerances.
- Removal is completed without causing damage to any component or system.
- Removal activities are carried out according to industry regulations/guidelines, OH&S legislation, and enterprise procedures/policies.
- Workplace documentation is completed and dealt with relevant to removal outcomes.
- Install vehicle windscreen
- Information is accessed and interpreted from manufacturer/ component supplier specifications.
- Type of glass for application is selected and used.
- Equipment for cutting windscreens from flat laminated glass is selected and used.
- Tooling and equipment for installation and screen support are selected and used.
- Work height safety harnesses/equipment and procedures are adopted.
- Installation is carried out in accordance with vehicle manufacturer/component supplier tolerances.
- Installation is completed without causing damage to any component or system.
- Drying times adhered to according to job requirements and manufacturer/component supplier specifications.
- Installation activities are carried out according to industry regulations/guidelines, OH&S legislation, and enterprise procedures/policies.
- Workplace documentation is completed and dealt with relevant to installation outcomes.
- Clean up work area and maintain equipment
- Material that can be reused is collected and stored.
- Waste and scrap is removed following workplace and environmental procedures.
- Equipment and work area are cleaned and inspected for serviceable condition in accordance with workplace procedures.
- Unserviceable equipment is tagged and faults identified in accordance with workplace requirements.
- Operator maintenance is completed in accordance with manufacturer/component supplier specifications and worksite procedures.
- Tooling is maintained in accordance with workplace procedures.
